Hammer Audio Video LLC started out as an extension of a profound interest in home theater and electronics by the owner.
His interest in home audio and electronics started out as a kid in the 80s. Since then, the passion for such has grown from a small, ‘word of mouth’ company serving Birmingham and Bloomfield to a full service company offering all things smart home, remotes and flat panel displays with an approach to simplicity, cost effectiveness and an emphasis on customer service.
Together with his two high school buddies: one in home construction and the other as a long time home theater and distributed audio installer, we offer the skills, loyalty and passion to cover all jobs within the home.
We offer only high quality gear and do not sell anything we would not have in our own homes. We hope you give Hammer a try.

Remotes
We will do simple, programmable remote controls for your TV, cable box and sound bar. We can do more sophisticated remotes to control a home theater system, lighting, music system or whatever is desired.
Networking
Installation of 3rd party modems, access points and switches. We also design and install Wi-fi networks and Access Points for speed and full signal strength around the entire home. We even do outdoor access points for strong Wi-Fi outside. We recommend and install Araknis or Unifi.
Security Cameras
We install wired or wireless security cameras. We will install an NVR for playback or cloud storage if desired. We use Hikvision and Dahua. Monitor your home through your TV or via the free mobile App from anywhere in the world.
TV Installation
We mount all TV types and sizes. Flat against the wall or on an articulating arm. Many of our TV mounts will support a soundbar as well. We are dealers for ALL major brands.
We install Sunbrite brand outdoor TVs. Sunbrite TVs are designed to remain outside year round. No need to store in winter. You can actually watch outside in the middle of winter or on a hot sunny day with incredible clarity and full weatherproofing!
Smart Lighting
Do you want a lighting system where all switches can be controlled and dimmed to your liking with a single button press? Imagine an "Entertain", "Bright" or "Watch TV" button… Or hitting a single bedside button and all lights in the home slowly fade off? Or do you want a motion detector to light up the room or (an entire floor) to a comfortable level when you walk into the room? No need to touch anything and the entire room (or floor) will light to your desired levels and change depending on the time of the day. If yes, we program and install gorgeous Lutron Radio Ra lighting systems to your new construction home or your current home. No wall surgery needed!
Music Systems
Everything from multi-room to simple 2 channel audiophile quality gear and set up. Control and listen to music in any room of your home. Stream Pandora, Apple Music, Spotify, Sirius XM, etc. System design will meet your needs from basic to sophisticated. In most instances, your current in-ceiling or in-wall speakers can be used with the updated music controller. Don't have in ceiling speakers? We can install or place wireless speakers in any room in the home. Very cost effective, fun and convenient!
